F.A. Rauner World Master

This is another interesting chromatic with an original slide mechanism. F.A. Rauner must have produced this unusual slide chromatic around 1920. The DRWZ 261424 (Deutsches Reichsgebrauchsmuster -> basically the registration to offer a basic copyright protection for design or function ) was registered in 1920.

One interesting observation, I recently acquired the below chromatic. The cover plates are identical to the ones from the World Master chromatic. This just shows how the harmonica manufacturers were recycling parts:

Two different harmonicas, similar parts: F.A. Rauner World Master chromatic and another no brand name (possibly also F.A. Rauner) I recently acquired

  1. I have a F.A. Rauner “World Master” harmonica with # 201454 and the initials DRWZ. Have any idea on age and value, as I wish to sell this.
